Emily Hartridge - Famous English YouTuber and television show presenter Preaching to others but unaware of reality, widely recognized but lost life in confusion
Statements like advice to others, but miserable misery or but skilled in preaching but many others are often heard in our India. We see every man preaching what he himself does not follow. Similarly, a British woman who became popular for her teachings and lifestyle died a premature death due to her own mistake. Emily Hartridge (Emily Hart 25 May 1984 Hambledon, Hampshire, England) died in Battersea, London, England in 2019 at the age of only 35, who was a famous YouTuber and television show presenter.
Hartridge began publishing vlogs on her YouTube channel in 2012 with her Ten Reasons Why... videos. Her content covered topics such as sex, relationships, love, gender and modern life, as well as her personal life such as her sexuality, mental health and her decision to freeze her eggs. She also presented television shows such as the Channel 4 series Oh Sh't I'm 30 and appeared in the sketch My Life. At the time of her death, Hartridge was undergoing fertility treatment for egg harvesting. She was hoping to have a child with her boyfriend Jake Hazell. She regularly spoke out in Hartridge's YouTube videos about battling addiction and depression and as a mental health campaigner herself.
On July 12, 2019, Hartridge was traveling on her electric scooter at the Queen's Circus roundabout in Battersea, London. A lorry hit her on the roundabout, killing her on the spot. Emily Hartridge was said to be the first person to die in an accident involving an e-scooter in the United Kingdom.
Emily Hart had earlier released her last video titled - 10 Reasons to Get a Younger Boyfriend. The said video showed Emily Hart receiving 2 scooters, which were given to her by Emily Hart's boyfriend Jake Hazell in May 2019 to celebrate her 35th birthday. One of the scooters was electric and she was riding it at the time of her death. In September 2020, a coroner ruled that Hartridge had lost control of her scooter, was driving it improperly, was speeding too fast and had low air in the tires.
Emily Hart was entangled with herself, she said, I could not be alone. I didn't want to get up in the morning because I couldn't face the day ahead. I was so disconnected from reality that I didn't even know what day it was. I would tell myself I couldn't go on.
