Nikola Tesla was born on 10 July 1856 in Smiljan, Croatia. Extremely talented, hardworking Nikola Tesla was a Serbian-American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, and futurist. He is best known for his contributions to the design of the modern alternating current (AC) power supply system. Tesla first studied engineering and physics in the 1870s without receiving any degree.
